Bethesda Softworks is the developer and publisher company behind The Elder Scrolls series, for which they are renowned for worldwide. They are known for their creation of expansive and, usually, revolutionary game worlds. Aside from The Elder Scrolls, they are also responsible for the Fallout series that utilizes the same gaming engine.

Over the past two decades, Bethesda has pushed the limits of several generations of gaming devices to their very peak. Because of this, many gaming enthusiasts could agree that they are among the very highest echelon of companies alive today.
