The "Athletics" skill determines how fast you move.
The higher the level of the "Athletics" skill, the faster you run, walk, and swim.
The "Athletics" skill is governed by the "Speed" attribute.

The "Heavy Armor" skill measures proficiency in the use of heavy armor.
The higher the level in the "Heavy Armor" skill, the more protection heavy armor offers.
The "Heavy Armor" skill is governed by the "Endurance" attribute."

The "Spear" skill measures proficiency in the use of shafted thrusting weapons.
The higher the level of the "Spear" skill, the more damage cause when using a spear, and the higher the chance of hitting the opponent.
The "Spear" skill is governed by the "Endurance" attribute.

The "Acrobatics" skill affects how high you can jump, and how much damage you take from falling.
The higher the level in the "Acrobatics" skill, the higher you jump, and the more damage is reduced when falling.
The "Acrobatics" skill is governed by the "Strength" attribute.

The "Armorer" skill measures proficiency in the use of repair hammers and repair prongs.
The higher the level of the "Armorer" skill, the more equipment is repaired, and the higher the chance of a successful repair.
The "Armorer" skill is governed by the "Strength" attribute.

The "Axe" skill measures proficiency in the use of heavy chopping weapons.
The higher the level of the "Axe" skill, the more damage cause when using an axe, and the higher the chance of hitting the opponent.

The skill "Marksman" measures proficiency in the use of long-ranged weapons.

The "Marksman" skill is governed by the "Agility" attribute.

[edit] Sneak

The skill "Sneak" measures your ability to remain undetected.
The higher the level of the "Sneak" skill, the less likely you are to be spotted while sneaking.
The "Sneak" skill is governed by the "Agility" attribute.

The skill "Security" measures your ability to unlock doors and chest, and disarm traps.
The higher the level of the "Sneak" skill, the more complicated locks you can unlock, and the more complicated traps you can disarm.
Also, you are less likely to fail with a high skill level in "Security."
The "Security" skill is governed by the "Intelligence" attribute.

[edit] Hand-to-hand

The skill "Hand-to-hand" measures your proficiency at using your Fists for Combat.
Hand-to-hand attacks only damage the Fatigue of an opponent, but when the target has been Knocked unconscious by Fatigue loss, It will damage Health.
The higher the level of the "Hand-to-hand" skill, the more Damage you will cause to an Unconscious target, and the higher the chance of hitting the target.
The "Hand-to-hand" skill is governed by the "Speed" attribute.

The skill "Short-Blade measures proficiency in the use of small-bladed weapons.
The higher the level of the "Short Blade" skill, the more damage cause when using a short blade, and the higher the chance of hitting the opponent.
The "Short Blade" skill is governed by the "Speed" attribute.

[edit] Mercantile

The skill "Mercantile" measures your ability to get good prices in shops.
The higher the level of the skill "Mercantile" the more gold you are initially offered for sales, and the cheaper you are offered items for purchase.
A high level in "Mercantile" will also allow you to make more drastic changes while bartering.
The "Mercantile" skill is governed by the "Personality" attribute.

The skill "Speechcraft" measures your ability to deal with others.
The higher the level of the "Speechcraft" skill, the more successful you are when bribing, admiring, and taunting others.
The "Speechcraft" skill is governed by the "Personality" attribute.

The "Unarmored" skill measures proficiency in avoiding and reducing damage while wearing no armor.
The higher the level of the skill "Unarmored" the more protection you receive while wearing no armor
The "Unarmored" skill is governed by the "Speed" attribute.

The "Illusion" skill measures your proficiency in casting illusion magic.
The higher the level of the "Illusion" skill, the less likely you are to fail when casting a spell, and the more powerful the spells you can cast.
The skill "Illusion" is governed by the "Personality" attribute.
