The Plane Of Oblivion known as the Deadlands. Ruled by Mehrunes Dagon

Summary

The Planes of Oblivion are inhabited by the demonic race, the Daedra. The Planes are ruled by sixteen Daedric Princes. In The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion the realm of Oblivion that is the staging grounds for the Daedric invasion is ruled over by Mehrunes Dagon his realm is called the Deadlands. The only Daedric Prince without a known realm is Jyggalag the Daedric Prince of Order.


The Realms of the Daedric Princes

Mehrunes Dagon's Deadlands - A barren and fiery realm of lava and smoke, the Oblivion Gates that open across Cyrodiil in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion lead to this realm.

Sheogorath's Madhouse - See "The Elder Scrolls IV: The Shivering Isles".

Malacath's Ashpit - Levitation and magical breathing are necessary to survive as this realm is described to have only dust, kingdoms of smoke and lots of ash. It's inhabited by vaporous creatures that survive on the dust plumes and ash mountains.

Boethiah's Attribution's Share - Consists of many twisting towers and gigantic, beautiful gardens.

Molag Bal's Coldharbour - A realm filled with cemeteries, crematoriums and slave pens. A mortal captured in this realm would likely find themselves in one of the three.

Meridia's Colored Rooms - A collection of realms belonging to the Daedric Prince Meridia who has an open dislike of the undead.

Hircine's Hunting Grounds - A realm inhabited by bears, wolves, werecreatures and Daedra. A mortal found in this realm would more than likely be hunted by it's inhabitants.

Hermaeus Mora's Apocrypha - An endless library where all of Tamriel's forbidden knowledge is kept.

Azura's Moonshadow - A plane that is inaccessible from Nirn. It's best described as one big garden filled with roses of suce beauty that mortals go half blind at the mere sight of them.

Namira's Scuttling Void - Almost nothing is known about this realm.

Peryite's Pits - Are the lowest depths of Oblivion. In appearance, this realm is similar to that of Mehrunes Dagon's.

Clavicus Vile's Realm - Takes it's form from that of a peaceful countryside where horned, yellow-skinned, deadly Daedra roam.

Sanguine's Realms - Consist of 10,000 realms all under the control of Sanguine. Most are used for the Prince's pleasure.

Vaermina's Quagmire - Is a realm of torture and nightmares that changes every few minutes from one disturbing vision to another.

Nocturnal Realm - Is a place in which no light is allowed to enter. It's inhabited by daedra known as the Nocturnals.

Mephala's Web - A realm which is woven like that of a spider's web.
