Vidkun is a deceased Nord male who's body can be found to be moldering away inside a well located behind the Mages Guild branch in Cheydinhal. He died because Falcar sent him on a fool's errand to do with the Ring of Burden. In the Cheydinhal Recommendation quest you discover his body in the well, and you can find the Ring of Burden on him which suggests that he drowned inside the well after trying to take the Ring back. Speaking to the members of the Cheydinhal guild will reveal that Vidkun was a nice person and a very eager mage.
